Top 5 Reasons Chiffon Is the Best Fabric for Moms

As a mom of a newborn, I often wonder what I should wear that will be comfortable yet still look cute. I don't want something that is too extravagant and I also don't want to look too simple. My son is very active at the very minimum which is why I'm always moving and looking for new ways to entertain him. The issue is that I'd like to look as though I care about my appearance without having to put in a lot of effort.

So, I've found my answers... Chiffon. It's a genius fabric! It's a light sheer fabric available in 100 percent Silk up to 100 percent Polyester. Any fiber content can be used.

Below are the top five reasons why all moms (and grandmas!) will be enthralled by Chiffon:

1. Spills and Spit Ups aren't evident. I can remember going to my son's appointment with a doctor during lunch break. I had given him bottles in the waiting room, and the excitement caused my son to vomit off a large portion of lunch... It was on my blouse, which I needed to get back to work wearing. Luckily it was a watercolor-inspired Chiffon dress I purchased from Icefabrics. It was hard to tell how much he spit out on me. After my son was given his shots and I took on the role of the evil restraint and cleaned off the mess. I took a clean cloth out of his bag for diapers and soaked the spot. It was free of stain and was dry in less than a minute!

2. Sheerness = Coolness. Because Chiffon Fabrics is so slender and light, you don't have to be worried about sweating like a pig playing with your baby. This is among the greatest advantages for me. My son is a fan of playing rough. To entertain him, I jump between the floors, do silly faces, pretend to be Super Baby (he enjoys the game), and other things that make fun of myself all to provide him with entertainment. It's like working out with him in the form of a 20-pound weight, however, I'm not going to be running through the streets sweating my whole life. This is the solution I'm looking for.

3. Fluid Silhouettes. There's nothing more uncomfortable than wearing a garment you cannot move around in. "Love that top, but how do you breathe?" Have you heard this song before? Well, I'm not a big fan. I'd like to complete a fifty-yard sprint in my clothing. When I've worn Chiffon, I've noticed that the silhouettes of most women are sloppy and unfit. The fabric has barely any elasticity, however, it's still thin enough to showcase your amazing post-pregnancy physique and also acts as a filter for the occasion of wanting to cover up areas that aren't working.

4. It's IN! I've not yet had a season where Chiffon Fabric was completely absent from every designer's collection. In Spring, designers often pair lace with an enchanting and romantic look. For the fall season, darker jewel tones seem to always be trending. So never fear! Purchase a basic empire-style top that has a shirring at the waist, and wear it with the latest accessories that are trending! For those like me, who aren't a fan of the big bangles and large earrings that entice babies' grasping fingers, go with what works for your best.

5. Inexpensive to Expensive. This fabric is available in a wide variety in terms of content. You can't afford the $95 100 percent Silk Chiffon? opt to go with the cheaper $30 polyester version. You might even find it for $5 on a rack at the discount store. (In reality, Polyester at times can be more durable than Silk!) You'll reap the advantages of the fabric regardless of what the content of the fiber is. The distinctions are not significant. For instance, Polyester Fabric is synthetic; it's a man-made product. There is nothing silkier than Silk I'm worried. The man tried all he could, yet Mother Nature triumphed. When held by a lighter Polyester melts like plastic. However, as I mentioned earlier there are very few differences.

So, I could sing the praises of my favorite Chiffon top all day long throughout my day, however looking is being believed! Visit the nearest department store or, if you're carrying a fussy, teething baby like mine, spare yourself the hassle and shop on Icefabrics.com
